Amber has imported from Canada in early spring 2000. She is bred by Lucille & Vic Pakalnis, Kennel Dunnescroft, Ontario.
What a girl! Sweet and happy, open and gentle. Strong and nicely balanced, moving like a dream. So wonderful to have her here in my home.
Amber visited on the show rings only few times, but with excellent results: She received her first CAC in the Finnish Sighthound Club´s Specialty in Tampere 2001 under judge Dermot Drum from Ireland. Her second CAC (and resCACIB) came from the Oulu International Dog Show autumn 2001. Both times she awarded as a Best Bitch 2nd too. In July 2002 Amber easily completed her FINCh - title in Kokkola Int.Dog Show taking her 3rd CAC and receiving Best Bitch 3rd placement there.
Highlight at year 2002 was a day in the Oulu Int. Dog Show - First time in the Champion class; Amber won Best of Breed and received her first CACIB there by judge Marianne Fúrst-Danielson from Sweden.
Amber was an excellent showdog and a caring mother for her beautiful puppies. But most of all she has always been a very special girl and a dear friend of mine.

At spring 2010 Amber is already 10,5 years old. She is still happy as always and is clearly enjoying her peaceful daily life with us. She knows what she wants and is waking us up exactly at the same time every morning. She also knows when dinner is ready and can charm anyone by her gentle dark soulful eyes.
You know - Old IWs are special and they have some privileges.^^
At late autumn 2010 it was time for Amber to go over the Rainbow Bridge. Thank you, dear Amber, for those 11 wonderful years you shared with us and made me happy every day by your lovely personality. You will always have a special place in my heart.
