Ulvsholms Treanna
"Anna"

03.04.1993 - 1999

A longlasted dream came true, when this light grey brindle IW puppy "Anna" arrived to my home in summer 1993. I was picked her up at 5 weeks old from a wonderful T-litter bred by kennel Ulvsholms, Denmark. This puppy also had an interesting pedigree (descendant from the old original "Ballykelly" and "Eaglescrag" lines) and I liked her both parents a lot.

As a puppy Anna already was moving nicely, she had good angulation and a very pretty head with darkest eyes and lovely expression.
One year later, even being still a leggy youngster, Anna had a correct breed type and many nice details in her. As adult she was a big and strong girl with commanding appearance. Her movement was easy and active.

I enjoyed to show Anna and she also took couple of nice placements in the show rings too. Best were the couple of placements in the Best Bitch class with CQ.
As a family member she always was an easy and happy girl; Intelligent, quiet and quite independent lady. Her hunting instinct was high - Once she even catched me a hare from an open field! She always liked to come walking with my other dogs in the forest and fields.

During her life Anna had two wonderful litters: The first Wild Frontier C-litter was born in November of 1995 and two years later the S-litter was born in July 1997.
Both times Anna was a wonderful mother to her puppies.

I was very proud of Anna, when she was honoured by the title;
The Brood Bitch of the year 1999!

The Irish Wolfhound Club of Finland gave this honour prize for Anna via her some puppiesī good show results that year. Later her daughter Elli continued this excellent breeding line to the future.

Thank you Jette for this wonderful, intelligent IW lady and all your good advice during the years.
Thank you Anna, giving me two wonderful litters and so many golden memories in your lifetime!
I will always remember you.
