"Katri"

18.11.1995 - 2007

Katri was a full sister to Elli from the same litter. Beautifully balanced and very intelligent IWgirl with lovely personality. She also visited in the show rings few times, every time having a wonderful criticue and placed well too.
Like her sister Elli, she enjoyed to run in the forest and fields freely like a wind; Her another hobby was obedience training (just for fun), and sometimes we trained scent tracking - she was quite skilful in that too. Every time we had puppies, Katri was there to help taking care of them. It was a pity, she never had her own litter.

Katri was still going strong at summer 2006: She was happy and healthy IW lady full of life, like always during her long life, even aging was slowly started to make her coat greyish in her, and she rather appreciated calm and peaceful daily life. Of course she also earned some extra attention and treat bits then - and she do knew that. ;-)
But well - Old IWs are special ones. Like my friend Katri.

In the beginning of December 2007 a time arrived to let our beloved old IW lady Katri to go. Sharing our daily life 12 years with this charmful, intelligent and always very healthy girl, was a pure joy. She was a special girl and I miss her so much. Many good memories of her will always stay in my heart.
